This adventure was really about one thing: how quickly can you learn when you commit before you feel ready?

We started with zero motorbike experience. Four days of intensive training later, we took our tests on day five. The following morning, we left London and pointed the bikes south towards Morocco.

What followed was a 3,000-mile journey through France and Spain, across the Strait of Gibraltar and into North Africa. Incredible roads, brutal weather, long days in the saddle and more than a few moments where our lack of experience became very obvious.

It became a lesson in rapid learning, adaptability and confidence. We had to absorb new skills quickly, make decisions on the move and get comfortable operating in an environment where we were still very much beginners.

By the time we reached the Sahara, we had gone from never having ridden a motorbike to completing a transcontinental journey in little more than a week.

We partnered with Triumph Motorcycles to make the adventure possible, who supported us with the bikes and helped turn a slightly ridiculous idea into reality.
