Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 — CFO Team Offsite

The Tempest Two worked with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team to design a full-day offsite for 50 members of the finance team.

The brief was clear: help the group become more adaptable, more confident through change and more willing to see disruption, including AI, as an opportunity rather than a threat.

The day was built around one central idea: brave teams win.

It opened with a bespoke keynote drawing on The Tempest Two’s experience of performing in uncertain, high-pressure environments, creating a shared language around adaptability, mindset and change.

The team then moved into a workshop focused on brave ambition, challenging where comfort, caution or old assumptions might be limiting progress.

The afternoon culminated in The Expedition, The Tempest Two’s immersive team experience, where participants had to apply the thinking from the day through real-time decisions, communication and teamwork under pressure.

By connecting keynote, workshop and experience through one clear thread, the offsite turned abstract ideas around adaptability into something the team could discuss, practise and take back into the business.
